Playwright sessions

Use a Playwright browser session to reach TikTok endpoints that are blocked from datacenter IPs.

Some endpoints are blocked by Akamai WAF when called from datacenter IPs:

• searchUsers
• getSound
• getSoundVideos

A PlaywrightSession runs requests through a real browser session, which bypasses the WAF.

Set up Playwright

npm install playwright
npx playwright install chromium

Use a session

Create the session, call init(), pass it to the client, and close it when you’re done.
